All of our products are made to order in the U.S.A. We have streamlined our in-house production with lean manufacturing principles to produce our products as efficiently and sustainably as possible and can usually ship to our users within 5 business days of purchase.

We ask that you return any products you no longer want in 14 days of receipt. 

To be eligible for a part/full refund, the product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The product must be returned to us in our original packaging with all seals, tags and labels intact. 

You may not be entitled to a full/part refund if any of the following apply:- 

if the product is damaged upon receipt at our mailing center 

if you do not have proof of purchase

If the product is customized, or bespoke

Email us at delivery@kimsoko.com to request a return. In your email specify your order number, contact number and the reason for your request. 

We will reply to your email and assist you with next steps. Please note, any goods received at our mailing center without authorization will not qualify for a refund and will be rejected on delivery. 

Cost of returns

Faulty products - we will bear the reasonable cost of returning products to us. 

Non-faulty products - you must bear the cost of returning non-faulty products to us, if you have simply changed your mind and are canceling your order. 

Refunds 

If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund you for all products returned to us within 14 days of our receipt of the product received by you, or within 14 days of you providing evidence of having returned the products to us, whichever is sooner.

We may deduct any applicable amount from the refund if the products are returned to us in an unstable condition.  

We offer a manufacturers’ warranty on all our products of up to 12 months from delivery of the products to you.

Our product warranty covers the sale of KIMSOKO, LLC products in all countries in which KIMSOKO, LLC operates.

During the warranty period, KIMSOKO, LLC will repair or replace any product, part or component as a result of a defect in material or workmanship. However, warranties will be void/do not apply to defects that are due to fair wear and tear, accidental damage, any modifications made to the product. 

This warranty extends only to the original purchasers who acquire new product from KIMSOKO, LLC or its authorized resellers. Any product, part, or component must have been installed, used, and maintained according to KIMSOKO, LLC’s published instructions and acrylic care guidelines in order to be eligible for coverage under this warranty.

KIMSOKO, LLC does not warrant products that are exposed to extreme environmental conditions, such as but not limited to direct sunlight, excessive moving, or that have been subject to improper storage.

KIMSOKO, LLC does not warrant against scratches, dents, or damages incurred by improper handling, or improper cleaning products such as, but not limited to abrasive cleaning cloths and cleaning fluids that do not specifically state they are safe for acrylic and plastics. See our care instructions in our FAQs. Using the improper cleaning fluids can cause cracking, discoloration, and cloudiness in the materials.

KIMSOKO, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES,  BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIM FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE IMPROPER USE OR HANDLING OF OUR PRODUCTS. 

Acrylic is a form of plastic, specifically polymethyl methacrylate or (PMMA) which is a transparent thermoplastic homopolymer where dyes can be added to create an infinite variety of color and finish possibilities.

To maintain the quality of the acrylic material by bringing back the shine of its surface or mend a scratch it is best to polish the surfaces regularly with a polishing cloth and specialized polishing compound. We recommend Novus 1 for light use and refreshing, Novus 2 for moderate scratches, and Novus 3 for deeper scratches. 

Please do not use any products containing ammonia, acetone or lactic acid this will permanently damage the acrylic. Do not leave your acrylic products in direct exposure to sunlight for extended periods of time or in extreme temperatures below freezing or above 90 degrees fahrenheit. Acrylic is not food safe or dishwasher safe and please keep away from heat sources, acrylic is a flammable material.

The together room NYC collection is a mono material design featuring cast acrylic not only for its beauty, how it conveys the inspiration of the together room, but also for its reusability. We have designed the products of the Together Room for a circular life cycle where we will take back all of the products and parts and have already designed for the next life of the acrylic material. So, please never discard a KIMSOKO to the local landfill. 

We have gone to great lengths as well to minimize the waste and carbon footprint of production of The Together Room through lean manufacturing techniques that optimize efficiencies and even dedicated collection systems for capturing the post industrial waste during manufacturing for reuse into additional product lines. 

We are currently monitoring our baseline metrics in this first year of our operations and look forward to publishing our initial findings. We are greatly looking forward to 2023 and the creation of our first ESG report to be followed by a third party certified full life cycle assessment. 

Our aim is to design, produce, and supply users with products that make the most of the precious resources that we use to create them throughout the system in which they live.
